Chandrababu Naidu Alleges YSRCP for Using Animal Fat in Preparing Tirupati Laddu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday, alleged that the previous YSRCP government used animal fat instead of ghee in preparing the Tirupati laddu prasadam at Tirumala.
He stated that the quality has improved under his administration, with pure ghee now being used.
Reacting on X, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh condemned the YSRCP government for allegedly disrespecting the religious sentiments of devotees.
APCC president YS Sharmila, in turn, urged Naidu to form a high-level committee or initiate a CBI probe to uncover the truth behind his claims.
“The lord venkateswara swamy temple at Tirumala is our most sacred temple. I am shocked to learn that the @ysjagan administration used animal fat instead of ghee in the tirupati Prasadam. Shame on @ysjagan and the @ysrcparty government that couldn’t respect the religious sentiments of crores of devotees,” Lokesh wrote on his X account.
